- MEMBERSHIP

To become a member of Archery Australia individual simply joins a club and within the membership fees they pay to the club is the membership component to both their RGB (Regional Association) and to Archery Australia.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Archery Australia offers a number of membership types -
Individual Affiliate
This membership level covers most people shooting in clubs or enaged in archery related activities.
Under the Archery Australia Constitution anyone shooting at a club or engage in any archery related activity MUST be a members of Archery Australia. If not they will not be covered by the insurnace policies or entitles to an right or priviligies offered to members.
Associate Affiliate (Member)
This a token memebership level and is offered to friends of the sport, non shooting family members or volunteers. It provides insurance cover as well as registration to the sport.
Life Member
A person is granted Life Membership by the Archery Australia Board following a recommendation of the Awards Committee in recognition of years of service to the sport.
Honorary Affiliate
A membership type offered by the Archery Australia Board from time to time to individuals, associations or organisations who offer sponsorship, support or assistance to the sport.
Temporary Affiliate (Member)
Temporary membership is offered to people undertaking instruction or a "Come N Try" course, visiting a club (a maximum of 4 times in a year) or entering a tournament from a FITA associated country or as a members of the Archery Alliance of Australia (members of ABA or 3DAAA).
Members
For the purpose of Section 3 of the Associations Incorporation Act (1991 ACT) the members of Archery Australia are the RGBs (regional associations) and are the "Voting Members" at the Archery Australia Annual General Meeting.
